Principles of responsible lobbying and policy work

Our lobbying activities (current and future) are guided by the following principles:

● Stakeholder Consideration

We assess the impact of our policy positions on key stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, local communities, investors, and the environment.

● Alignment with Purpose

We only support policies, positions, or coalitions that are consistent with our mission and intended positive impact.

● Transparency, Accuracy and Evidence-Based Communication

All public statements, policy positions, and advocacy efforts must be communicated in a balanced, accurate, and evidence-based way. We strive to be transparent about our policy priorities and how they connect to our corporate mission and impact.

● Ethical Conduct

We avoid misleading, manipulative, or aggressive lobbying practices and adhere to high ethical standards in all advocacy, marketing, and public relations activities.

● Financial or in-kind political donations

We do not make financial or in-kind political contributions. If this changes, all such contributions will be disclosed annually, including value and recipients, in line with this policy.

● Anti-corruption and bribery

We prohibit any form of bribery, undue advantage or corrupt practices in connection with public policy engagement, in line with applicable anti-corruption and bribery laws.

Process for policy positions and coalitions

To ensure consistency and accountability, we apply the following process when engaging in responsible lobbying:

Criteria

We will only support policy positions or join coalitions that:

● Align with our corporate mission, purpose and values and contributes to positive social and/or environmental impact

Do not create significant negative impacts on key stakeholders

● Can be communicated openly and transparently

Approval

● Only authorized representatives (e.g., CEO, founder, or designated partner) may speak on behalf of the company, and all formal submissions, endorsements, or coalition memberships require internal approval

Documentation

For each policy engagement, we document:

● The position taken (support/oppose)

● Key stakeholders considered

● A brief rationale for the decision
